The deal, in plain language.
Last updated: 26 October 2026. By using payslop.com you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Payslop explains payslips and checks them against publicly available payroll rules using automated analysis, including large language models. It is an information tool. It is not tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice or financial advice, and it does not create any professional relationship. Always verify important conclusions with your employer, a tax adviser, your union or the competent authority before acting.
2. Accuracy
Payroll rules change, documents can be blurry, and automated systems make mistakes. We do not guarantee that results are complete, accurate or up to date. Each result shows a confidence level and the list of checks performed; use them. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a result.
3. Free and paid use
The analysis of a payslip (explanation, arithmetic, comparison with published rates, differences and questions for payroll) is free, limited to a number of decodes per day per network, and paying never changes these limits.
Plus is not on sale yet. The result page shows its planned prices so we can learn whether people want it; choosing an option charges nothing and creates no contract. When Plus goes on sale, these terms will be updated first. Plus reports will then be sold as single credits or packs, valid for 12 months and consumed when a report is delivered. They are digital content delivered immediately: before paying you will be asked to request immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you then lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. If a report cannot be generated for technical reasons, the credit is not consumed. Your pass code, printed on the Stripe receipt, is the only key to your reports, as there are no accounts. Your statutory rights if a report is faulty are not affected.
4. Acceptable use
You must be at least 16 to use Payslop. Upload only payslips that are yours or that you are authorised to process. Do not upload documents of other people without their consent. Do not attempt to overload, probe or reverse engineer the service. Business use (processing payslips of clients or employees) requires a separate agreement; write to us.
5. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Luxembourg law.
7. Changes and law
We may change the service and these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. Luxembourg law applies; the courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
